Welcome to the Tsar’s Corner

Hi, I’m the Tsar. More specifically my name is Seraphim,  but I like going by the Tsar. I’m just a man, who’s trying to figure everything out in the world. The Tsar’s Corner though will be a lot more than just the ramblings of a mad man, no rather it will be designed for sharing. Mainly my Orthodox Christian faith. As you can tell, the name Tsar’s corner comes from the title of the Tsar of Russia, which until 1918 was the dominant leader in the orthodox world. The title Tsar of which I myself have been styled is the pinnacle of titles, first the Emperor of Russia of which was called the Tsar, was called that because Moscow was the Third Rome, the third city to be the center of an empire. Tsar in English is more or less translated as Caesar which is fitting because the emperor of both the western and eastern empire of Rome was called Caesar and this tradition was carried from Rome and more specifically Constantinople to Moscow. It instills a sense of nostalgia, a sense of pride. Of a time in history where the nations were unified under a single banner, albeit a pagan one. Thus this Third Rome, calls us to a different kind of Rome, a different kind of empire. A Christian empire. An Orthodox Empire. The Tsar, the emperor, should be called back, back to the Third Rome, to restore the empire and reunite the orthodox lands together again. He should also be one that defends the faith, and helps proclaim it to the world. Who stands for the Orthodox and not of the Heterodox. And that my friends is what this blog is going to do. I am going to share my Orthodox faith with all of you, in hopes that I might instill in you the fear of God, and in some way restore the empire. One soul at a time.
